OMEGA "MONSTER" SIZE "SEAMASTER COSMIC 2000"
AUTOMATIC
STOCK NUMBER # OM4128------This is one big big and really BIG Omega
Seamaster Cosmic 2000 series wrist watch. The case is a "case in a case"
in other words the bezel slips over the sides of the back of the case
press it in to make one whole case. The case is 14 Karat capped NOT gold
filled. This Omega is 45mm long and 42mm wide with the Omega signed crown.
Now for the only flaw, The dial as you can see is near perfect except for
two round markings , one at the 11:15 position and one at the 5:15
position. Some IDIOT tried to put the dial into the movement but forgot to
let the foot screws out and caused the dial feet to lift onto the dial
causing this flaw. If the dial came to me in perfect condition, this would
be a 600.00 USD wrist watch. This DOES NOT damage the watch at all, rather
it just lessens the value of this Omega and I have adjusted the price
accordingly. The crystal is a mineral Sapphire crystal and very
expensive!. The band is a non Omega gold filled bracelet and it can be
adjusted. The movement is a caliper 1022 with 17 jewels and it is a quick
set day and date as you can plainly see. Pull the crown out once and the
date changes. Pull the crown out a bit further and wind the watch counter
clockwise and the day changes, keep the crown out and wind it clockwise
and the hands will change. This is a multi functioning watch. One good
note I may want to add. This is a hacking model. This means that back in
the early years of Horological wrist watches. The military wanted a watch
that can stop so many men could read the same EXACT time for missions and
where to be at the second. This model has such a hacking gear. Pull the
crown out and the watch stops. Put the crown back in and it starts up in a
hurry. SO take advantage of this 200.00 savings only cause the dial is not
perfect, and let me tell you from 3 feet away one would hardly be able to
tell!
